New copywriting testimonial alert! Fix My Mind.

This hypnotherapy client wanted blogs, website content – and the kind of keen engagement that leads to clicks.

James Mallinson, co-founder of London and Winchester-based clinical hypnotherapy practice Fix My Mind, had given me a testimonial for my website some years ago after I had written some blogs for him.

When tweaking my site, however, I asked him for something that better reflected the website copywriting work I'd been doing for his business.

I have been providing him with content (web copy, blogs and a few other things) for more than five years, and I know from his Google reviews that his clients really value his skill and the effort he puts into each session. Of course, I was delighted when he put as much effort into a testimonial for me.

The remit also involved trying to improve conversions, which was achieved in part by a new, prominent contact form featuring clear, simple wording. The carefully crafted copy, which focused on providing reassurance about the process, also helped.

Just one week after launch, James called me to say that conversions had gone up dramatically – which, of course, made my little heart sing. His rankings moved northwards at a slightly slower clip, but with time the work paid off and the last time I checked, Fix My Mind was number 2 in the UK for "online hypnotherapy", James' most popular service.
